We may have all at one point in time said one of those words,so why should this be any different for the computer.

With the computer, you can do so much with it, whether you areoperating a business or not, the possibilities are endless, sotherefore a lot of time can be spent on the computer and youmay not even realize it.

Remember when the internet first became popular, and the newswould talk a lot about how many people spent so much timegetting "hooked" that their marriages, and family relationshipswere suffering.

Employers had to put out tons of memo's and new rules regardingemployee use of the internet on Company time.

How many times when you were bored at work did you findSomething to do online. Check your email, play a game, surf andshop, etc.

The plain and very simple fact is that the net is veryaddictive, I can easily have my mind set to take care of onetask on the computer, and next thing you know an idea pops upto surf, and by that time a few hours have passed...Now what was I supposed to do in the first place??

It is almost human nature to worry about these things, but itdoesn't have to be this way.

Just as how you can have a good friend that you spend a lot oftime with and maybe a spouse gets jealous, the same can happenwith a computer.

Of Course, I am not just talking about spouses, the childrencan have those same feelings.

If your child needs some help with homework or something ingeneral but you are always putting it off because you have todo something on the computer, those feelings can erupt.Anytime you are not trying to balance your daily tasks, thenthis can be a problem

Just because YOU have a computer now doesn't mean that you arenow Information KING /QUEEN almighty.

There are still some things that the computer can't teach us...If your family absolutely cannot handle the amount of time youspend online and they resent everything about it, then that istime for extra help, a counselor of some sort of anyprofessional that you can find to help find out why it seemslike they are not happy when you try to be happy.

If they don't care what you do online, but are there to ask youhow much money you have in Paypal, then its time to get themmore interested in YOUR business.

Incorporate all the benefits of your business to them, let themknow of any and ALL parts of your business that your family maywant to know about.

Sell yourself and your business, use common sense and you can'tgo wrong.

So what if you are creating the jealous tendencies and don'teven realize or can't see the warning signs.Do you treat your pc better than you do some of your friendsand relatives?

Do you go into a fit when someone else is on your pc?Do you feel that the pc is what saves you from going crazy oneday ?

If the pc breaks down, do you go into depression and withdrawalperiods until it is fixed?

If you are not one who is wasting time on the computer orintentionally putting everyone on the back burner so you canwork, then here are some tips that may help your situation:

Introduce them to the Computer.

Sounds crazy, but a lot of people are afraid of new technologyand they think nothing but negative thoughts on the subject.Many of us have relatives who have never been near a computerand don't know how it works, well let them know it is not someas scary as you thought. Let them know all you are trying to dois make money like everyone else, but in a modern way asopposed to the old way of clocking in at 9, and clocking out at5.

Set A Time Limit For Pc Use

Yes we need to spend as much time as possible our first fewyears on the computer, but when you have a family at home, youHAVE to set some sort of limit or when you are making all thatmoney, no one will be around to see it.

It's A Machine, Not A Person

So don't treat it as such. If Someone offers some informationto you, don't run and say " Well the internet told me such andsuch on the subject and you are wrong"

Remember there is wrong information on the computer too.You ever know some people who treat their pets better thanhumans, well don't fall victim to any of it.

Let the Fears Go, Some people are afraid to even turn off theircomputer... as if they are going to miss some huge importantemail..
