Lay a piece of plywood down on the floor and carefully slide the appliance onto the plywood. Make sure that when you move the appliance it is resting evenly on the plywood. You don't want to make any impressions onto the floor beneath.

Linoleum is thin and must be laid carefully. The sub flooring beneath the linoleum must be free of any bumps or irregularities or nail heads. These irregularities will come through a linoleum floor.
